Introduction
The Shortsea XML Schedule message library has been designed specifically for users and providers of shortsea transport. It is flexible and easy to use and provides the complete range of messages required for distributing ship schedules. The XML schemas are written to comply with UN/CEFACT’s global standards and have been developed using Core Component procedures.
Processes supported
The Shortsea XML Schedules is used for distribution of ship schedules from the shipping lines to its customers and partners. The receiver is normally an agent, a forwarder, a shipper, a transport portal or a trailer operator. The sender is normally a shipping line or its agent.
Versions
We are now in the process of publishing the first version: Shortsea_XML_Schedule_1.2.
